No one knew that the queen had been hidden away in her Nightmare Court, honing her power, and building her army. The queen has opened the doors to the Nightmare Court, and those who have sworn their devotion to her now march towards the Summer Court with their minds addled by bloodstone crystal.

In the human realm, King Basilia has been slain. Dissatisfied with how he played out as king, the House has decided to take the king out of the game entirely. The smallfolk are beginning to grow restless, and unease is palpable. No one knows quite what to do about the sudden shift of the shroud that has engulfed the realm in a permanent darkness. Nor of the horrors that are stirring in the dark...
