Advertising Rules
  1. An advertisement may be submitted ONCE in a lifetime BUT you may bump your advertisement at least once a day IF we can do the same on your board (or repost our ad).

  2. Any advertisement that breaks our board, uses HTML, OR contains suspicious links will be removed.

  3. Sites with an age requirement above 13 to join must have the age IN the title of the thread. Our board allows users as young as 13 so please be mindful of them.

Rating: 3-3-3 [Site Events will generally be 2-2-2 to be more inclusive of more comfort levels]
Types of Characters/Creatures Allowed: Basically anything in Marvel/DC save the usual nos like Galactus.
Time where the RP is set: AU Present in a merged "dream" world that twists everyone's backstories

Plot/Story/Ad: DARE TO DREAM is is a Marvel/DC crossover AU where characters live in a mysterious Dream world that they believe has always existed as it is, regardless of the Origins that made them who they were. On DtD, you can take any Marvel/DC canon character from the mainline comics (or their major TV/film/gaming adaptations), choosing which inspirations to draw from for their appearance, abilities, and Origin half of their backstory. Then you can spin that however you want as you bring them into this new world with the Dream half of their backstory.

Are they on the side of light with the Justice Society or do they serve darkness in the grip of Alchemax? Or maybe they are caught in the middle - civilians, vigilantes, or rogues trying to live their lives on this small continent, unaware of their lives before? Do they live a similar life, or maybe it is something completely different, showing and exposing new sides of their character and personality as they find themselves in new situations...

Over time the storylines of the Dream world will develop, eventually leading to awakenings and realizations. What will happen to the Alchemax villain that begins to remember their Heroic Origin from another world? What will the Justice Society hero do when they discover their greatest foe was once their friend? Or the journalist working to make ends meet realizes they were once an incredible hero? Let's find out together!
